Big Fun Art Adventure 2024

A hand-painted owl sculpture joining thirty others to create a trail around the borough of Haringey, created with North London Hospice and Haringey Council. After a couple of months, the owls were auctioned off, and all the proceeds went to North London Hospice charity. This Owl raised £10,000 for the charity.

Inspiration for the design came from stories that Haringey was once believed to mean ‘A Meadow of Hares’. Included is the motto of Haringey, ‘Progress With Humanity’, a demi-sun which represents both the union of Hornsey, Wood Green and Tottenham in 1965 as a new borough; and a cogwheel representing the industry of the time.
