Hi, I’m Ellie

Ellie is an Illustrator and Muralist working between East Sussex and London, creating bold, place-based artworks rooted in folklore, symbolism, and community.

Her visual language draws from traditional lino and woodcut techniques, layered with contemporary colour and composition to bring modern relevance to timeless themes.

Ellie’s work is driven by narrative—whether pulled from local history, natural landscapes, or imagined mythologies—to reveal the layered character of a place.

Through public art, murals, and illustration, she weaves narrative-driven pieces that celebrate community identity, amplifying feminine perspectives in public spaces and embracing sustainable, lasting visual storytelling.
